Lamar in southwestern Missouri. Ed grew up in Vernon County,
Missouri where he worked in his familys feed and grain
business until leaving home for college. He graduated from
Nevada High School, Nevada, Missouri.
| Ed
earned an engineering degree in 1972 from the University
of Missouri at Rolla and spent the next twenty-two years
with a major U.S. oil company in management, staff, and
technical roles. In 1994, he, his wife Rebecca, and their
four children moved back to Southwest Missouri and now

Ed
is self-employed as a business consultant working with area
businesses and institutions through his company, Character
Returns! He is committed to serving businesses, schools, and
communities in every way possible to make families and communities
successful by putting character first.
Briefly,
it is Ed Emerys goal to work to reduce taxes and the
size of government, to reduce the burden of government regulation
in our lives, to protect the sanctity of human life, to successfully
educate every child, and to return Godly values to our culture.
State government is frequently out of touch with the conservative
principles of Southwest Missouri. Our communities grow and
flourish when the farmer and small businessperson is free
to operate without unreasonable restrictions. Ed will serve
the citizens of District 126 while working for the good of
all Missouri residents.
